What is a rally?

First of all lets forget the myth. A rally is not a bunch of cars with caravan attached racing through forests or speeding around a race track. A rally is a gathering of Caravan And Motorhome Club members promoting friendship with like minded people and pursuing common pleasures, pastimes and sports in a light hearted manner and having fun along the way. Each rally is different some may hold a social or event on the rally field or at a nearby hall while others may simply be a quiet weekend by the sea or in the country. Most rallies start on a Friday afternoon and finish on a Sunday afternoon but some are extended for extra days. We also organise holiday rallies at various locations within the UK and sometimes overseas. Rallies are usually informal gatherings and may be held in farmers fields or on private land. Whilst all provide fresh water they normally will not have toilet facilities or electric hook up. For this reason your own sanitation facilities are required and chemical disposal points are always provided. A good fully charged leisure battery is normally more than enough for power requirements on a weekend rally. Typical rally costs start from a few pounds per night to those slightly more expensive events offering sports and entertainment.

Our aims are simply to enjoy ourselves, meet friends old and new and relax making the most of the investment we have made in our caravans.
